Nha Trang-Da Lat Internship Tour of English Students

On November 16, 2020, Ton Duc Thang College cooperated with Lua Viet Tour Company Ltd. to organize Nha Trang - Da Lat internship tour (4 days 3 nights) for students majoring English.

During this internship tour, all students had the opportunity to manage a tour, consisting of preliminary preparation, means of transport, seating plan, accomodation, food and beverage, and guide service. Also, the internship allowed students to apply theoretical knowledge to handle unexpected problems in a practical environment.

At My Nghiep Brocade Weaving Village

In addition, students also surveyed and experienced the route, tourist destinations along the route, tourist facilities, etc… in two famous tourist cities of Viet Nam – Nha Trang and Da Lat. The students had a chance to learn more about Bau Truc Pottery Village and My Nghiep Brocade Weaving Village; explore Monkey Island and Kito King Cathedral; visit Ponagar Tower and Puppy Farm; admire the unique architecture of Linh Phuoc Pagoda and Domaine De Marie Church.

It was the initial step to facilitate students’ evaluating the potential, strengths and weaknesses of tourist places of Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provinces in particular and of Vietnam in general, helping the students shape their future career path, thereby equiping more professional skills and knowledge.

The internship tour of Nha Trang – Da Lat was a great success, giving students a lot of fascinating experiences about the tour guide. Despite many obstacles, problems and unforeseen circumstances, students have ignited the passion and enthusiasm for the path they will chose.
