Freshers' Week 2019
After finishing the enrollment period, Ton Duc Thang College (TDTC) started off the new school year with the Freshers’ Week to educate students about the three moral lessons, the code of conduct, the rules and regulations of the university, and civilized behavior. As a result, students had a deeper understanding about the five identification characteristics of TDTC students: Discipline, Politeness, Professionalism, Creativity, Devotion; as well as the academic regulations and procedures, the assessment of student performance, the tuition remission policy, the scholarships, the graduation requirements, the library training program, the extracurricular activities and the social skills for students.
In addition to these subjects, TDTC also organized various seminars, such as “How To Set Up Goals and Create Motivation” by Mr. Le Van Hien, Psychologist, Television Director; “Moral Standards In The 4.0 Industrial Revolution Era” by Mr. Tran Phuoc Lam, Reporter; “Cybersecurity Law” by Lt. Bui Thai Duc from Ho Chi Minh City Police Department. Thanks to these seminars, students were well-informed about essential socio-economic issues, community responsibilities, and self-development, etc.
Ultimately, the Freshers’ Week provided students with useful information and inspired them with career awareness to grow a positive attitude for the upcoming years at TDTC.
